What kind of candidate am I?
There are two three type of candidates for examinations: private, preparation centre and internal.
What is a ‘private’ candidate?
If you want to enrol in an exam directly with our Centre and you are currently not studying a Cambridge ESOL preparation course at a local school, you will be enrolling as a ‘private’ candidate. To enrol in an exam, click here and fill out the online inquiry form or contact our Centre directly.
What is a ‘preparation centre’ candidate?
If you are currently studying a Cambridge ESOL preparation program such as FCE or CAE at a local English language school in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast, and if you have paid your exam fees directly to your school, you are a ‘preparation centre’ candidate. This means your school will contact our Centre and enrol you. You do not need to contact us. If you have any questions about your enrolment, please speak to the relevant officer at your school.
What is an ‘internal’ candidate?
If you are currently studying a program at Langports English Language College, in either Brisbane or on the Gold Coast, you are an ‘internal’ candidate. You do not need to enrol on here. Just talk to your teacher or the DoS.
